I’m truly excited to announce the very first food writing workshop for fearless Philippine food bloggers! This event will be held during the better part of the day on July 14 2007 at Serye in Eastwood. The HANDS ON food critique class will be given by Christine Nunag, columnist of leading local industry magazine, F&B World. She is also a graduate of Creative Writing from the Writer’s Bureau in England. You can read more of Christine at her blog, The Hundred Pound Foodie.

The photography portion will be given by Markku Segguera of RebelPixel.com as well as myself, who will be assisting Markku throughout the day. Whether you use a DSLR or a point and shoot camera to capture your food, you will come home equipped with more knowledge

We have slots for FIFTEEN (15) foodies. Since there are limited slots, I would like to empathize that this seminar is open to bloggers who are passionate about food Please leave a comment with your name and blog address as Christine and Markku would like to have a look at the participants’ blogs so they can familiarize themselves with everybody even before the start of the seminar! (Aren’t blogs just great!)

I wold like to thank Serye for helping make this possible. This is a FREE event for serious and aspiring food bloggers. :)

Oooops. Pwede pa bang sumali? :)

  21. Hahaha talagang nakalista ako as Iron Chef Jabes! At first I thought naubusan ako ng slots. I chose that self-indulgent URL when I first set up my blog, been meaning to change it but haven’t gotten around to it :-P Please change my listing to just JB Cada :-D Am SUPER excited about the workshop! See you all there!

  22. Thanks for the slot. Can’t wait :D

Quick question though, how essential is a laptop? I’m not sure I want to lug one along since I’ll be taking public transport and I don’t even have an idea where Eastwood is, being the durned South person I am :P

  23. OMG! I’m super excited! Thanks for considering me! :) I hope I don’t get to be starstruck too much with the presence of my idols, Lori and Noemi! Hehehe!

  24. Wow filled na, masaya to. :) Jayvs, you have my last name mistyped. Hehe.
